From 2018-2020, the Egypt Petroleum Show celebrated outstanding females across the North African and Mediterranean energy industry with the Women in Energy Conference and Awards.

As we look to the future, we understand there is a necessity to cover broader issues surrounding inclusion, diversity and equality in the global energy industry and to celebrate and recognise individual and company efforts in these areas.

In alignment with the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, we are delighted to announce the unveiling of the 2021 Equality in Energy Conference and Global Equality in Energy Awards which will recognise outstanding people in the global energy industry, including women, men, and people of determination.

The 2021 Global Equality in Energy Awards are shaped by 5 individual categories with new dedicated entry criteria that celebrate not only women, but their male counterparts working in the fields of HR. Employers, students and young talents will also be acknowledged.

Following the ratings and interviews with the Awards Jury, we are pleased to announce the shortlisted finalists across five categories. Winners and the highly commended will be announced during the EGYPS Equality in Energy Conference and Awards Ceremony on Wednesday 16 February 2022.
