Vice President Exploration and New Ventures (Europe, Russia, Caspian, MENA)
Don received a bachelor’s degree in geology from Duke University in 1987 and a master’s degree in geology from the University of Oklahoma in 1989. He began his career with Exxon in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1989, and has worked in Houston, London, and Dallas.
Over his career, Don has held various technical, supervisory and managerial assignments across the Upstream – exploration, new field development, and production. In his current role, Don is located in London and is responsible for ExxonMobil’s exploration activity throughout the Europe, Russia, Caspian, and MENA regions.
Don is married and manages a dual career family with his wife Betsy. They have four children.
